Karl Davis wakes in a wrecked hotel room with a splitting headache and no memory of what has happened, where he is, or even who he is. When he discovers a dead body in the bathtub and two police officers knock at his door moments later, it triggers a terrifying, explosive chain of events. Forced into a blind descent into a deceptive world of confusion and conspiracy alongside hotel maid Molly, and with a price on his head and half the city in murderous pursuit, Karl must draw on forgotten skills to survive and unravel the mystery of his own missing memories, shot entirely from the first-person perspective of its characters on GoPro cameras.
Review:
An anarchic, ultra-violent and genuinely funny action thriller that fully commits to its first-person-shooter visual gimmick, delivering ferocious pacing and cine-literate wit throughout.
