Eddie Franks has tried hard to put his years as a London career criminal behind him and live a quieter life. But in the world he comes from, old debts, old enemies and old loyalties have a way of catching up with a man, and when trouble from his past comes calling once more, Eddie finds himself drawn back towards the violence he thought he had left behind. Facing a new generation of dangerous players, he must decide whether he can stay out of the game for good, or whether, to protect what matters to him, he will have to become the man he used to be.
