According to Latin American folklore, La Llorona is the ghost of a grieving mother, condemned to wander in tears and searching for children to take in place of those she lost. Years after she last terrorised a family in Los Angeles, the Weeping Woman has returned, and a new family finds itself in her sights. Faith healer Rafael Olvera, who has faced her before, may be their only hope.
