Thomas Crown appears to have everything a man could want: wealth, style, influence and effortless charm. But behind the polished exterior he is also an audacious art thief who steals not for the money but for the thrill of outwitting everyone around him. When a priceless work of art vanishes, a brilliant and determined insurance investigator becomes convinced that Crown is responsible, and sets out to prove it. As she closes in, the two are drawn into a seductive game of cat and mouse in which neither can be sure who is playing whom, and where falling for each other may be the riskiest move of all.
