In the wake of their great battles, Godzilla and Kong have become an uneasy part of the world's landscape, and people everywhere are still learning how to live alongside the colossal creatures that once ruled the planet. Some see them as protectors, others as a danger that should be contained. When a powerful new threat emerges, the scientists, soldiers and specialists of the monster-tracking organisation Monarch are drawn into a crisis that stretches from the deserts of the American South-West to the streets of London. As the threat grows, humanity must decide whether to trust the two Titans, in a conflict that could reach far beyond the Earth.
