Synopsis:
Grace volunteers on a crisis helpline. When she makes an unexpected connection with Walter, a deeply isolated man weighed down by his history, what follows is a conversation that gradually opens onto childhood trauma, addiction and shame. Written by Daniel P. Lewis, who also plays Walter, opposite Hannah Walters as Grace, the film is a small-scale, character-driven drama about loneliness, honesty and the importance of being heard – and the difference a single human connection can make.
Review:

The feature debut of director Ruth Carney, whose television work includes Shetland, Brassic and Call the Midwife. Shot in just 11 days on a modest budget, the film was written by its star Daniel P. Lewis, partly inspired by his own life.
