Savithiri's determination and idealism put her at odds with the cynical world of the courts, and with Markandeyan, whose experience and cunning make him a formidable opponent. As the case unfolds, she must decide whether to follow her conscience or her loyalty to the man who trained her, and the courtroom battle between pupil and teacher becomes a test of her convictions. The film mixes courtroom drama with lighter moments, with a supporting cast including Balasaravanan, Mala Parvathi and Shilpa Manjunath.
