Since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Vakarchuk, a former member of parliament, has performed for soldiers on the front line, in bomb shelters and for refugees, as well as on international stages, raising awareness and support for Ukraine. The film follows him and Okean Elzy as they tour, perform and meet people affected by the war, showing how songs can sustain morale, preserve national identity and rally international solidarity. Directed by Jacqui Morris and David Morris, the film explores the role of culture in resisting aggression.
